At noon on March 27, the sub-trade union of Ningbo University Health Science Center held the reading salon activity "Nonviolent Communication: Let Love Flow" at the Alumni Home. The activity invited two teachers, Lu Meifen and Xiao Xinkui from the Luming Book Friends Club, to give an in-depth lecture for the teachers.

Xiao Xinkui pointed out that "nonviolent communication" is the language of love advocated by positive education, which covers three major elements - concentration, listening, and empathy. During the lecture, Xiao Xinkui divided the teachers into different groups around the themes of "distinguishing between observation and comment", "experiencing and expressing feelings", "the power of listening", and "blinded love". Through vivid case analyses and wonderful role-playing, he simulated the practical problems that teachers encounter in their daily life and work, and guided everyone to discuss positive solutions.

After the activity, the teachers all said that they had gained a lot. Everyone deeply realized how to correctly apply "nonviolent communication" when getting along with their family members, friends, and colleagues in the future, so as to avoid causing harm to those around them due to inappropriate communication methods, which may lead to conflicts. The teachers hope that in the future, they can truly express themselves, listen carefully to others, and become people who are comfortable inside and good at communication.
